Children ducks guitar, waste electronics, electric tennis racket, converted silicone violin and extraterrestrial troika instruments play hard hitting trash rap. Troika Trash was originally a commission from the Jazzwerkstatt Festival Bern, CH in 2013 to composer/pianist Manuel Engel and his wife, New York poet Fork Burke. In the winter cold in Maastricht, NL a first dark and unvarnished album came into being.
